“Stanislawa Leszczyńska (Stanislawa Leszczynska) (born May 8, 1896 in Łódź, died March 11, 1974) was a midwife in Auschwitz concentration camp responsible for delivery of over 3,000 children. An official candidate for canonization (sainthood) by the Catholic Church.
